Description
Our Crab Apple Jelly with Chilli is made here on our farm.
We use fruit from our own orchard and our local community. It is made the good old fashioned way using just the local fruit, Cornish spring water (not mains tap water), our farm grown chilli’s and sugar.
It is super delicious with a surprising and enjoyable kick, winning a SILVER Taste of the West Award in 2024.
It pairs really well with a vintage cheddar, the sour group of cheeses such as blues and brie’s, Yarg and Fetta. Delicious as an accompaniment with pork, lamb & game. It is also fab with a cream tea – jam 1st naturally 😉!

After trying the original crab apple jelly, I was curious to try this version with the addition of chilli. I was not disappointed! The level of heat is just right, flavoursome but not overpowering, balanced perfectly with the crab apple’s distinct sweetness. We love it with cheese!
Absolutely delicious with a much desired crab apple tartness, perfect level of heat from the chilli and aesthetically most pleasing to the eye!
Just pass me the goats cheese and I’ll be happy! I’ll be back for more!
