Chicken Hatching Eggs – mixed breed
Description
Our chickens are ‘Total Freedom’ birds, enjoying our farms fields, trees, shrubbery and fresh streams.
Mixed variety chicken eggs. Currently (Feb 2026), breeds include Splash Blue Maran, White-faced Black Spanish, Speckledy Maran, Devon Bronze, Silver Duckwing Leghorn, Devon Sage, Exchequer Leghorn, Partridge Leghorn, Devon Blue, Bovan’s Brown, Barred Plymouth Rock, Cream Legbar, French Copper Maran, Light Sussex, ‘Oliver Eggers’ (our own hybrid green egg layers) and Welsummer. We have active Roosters in a ratio conducive to maximise fertility.
We make every effort to give you a good range of colours. Colours are subject to availability and change daily. If you have a particular preference or hope, please specify this at checkout.
We can’t pick ‘breeds’ for you as we have no idea which male has fertilised the hen. You may request egg colour but not breed.
Latest fertility rate is over 91%. February 2026

Hatching Eggs: Chicken - Mixed breed/hybrid
One olive egger hatched into a beautiful chick named cream 😊
I bought some [12] hatching eggs from you a few weeks ago. I had to admit I had almost zero expectation because of the time of year and postage but I was amazed. I have 7 out already and 1 more drying off in the incubator and 2 with a chance of getting out still, pipped but maybe tired. Anyway thank you and congratulations on such fertile birds.
3 out of 4 lovely chicks hatched. Thank you
I initially had 30 eggs from Home Farm & 25 hatched, all healthy chicks. I was so impressed I ordered 20 more. Great service from home farm, with care & thought when eggs have been packaged. After care is there as well if needed. Thanks Wendy & team
Speedy delivery and friendly service
As above
Fast delivery, well packaged but one of the 6 eggs was cracked. Hopefully the remaining 5 will be ok, in the incubater but not candled yet.
6 chicks from 6 eggs! Little beauties
I just wanted to reach out and let you know how happy we were, with our hatching eggs we bought from you.
We had bought 6 eggs, from a seller who has the most listings on hatching eggs on ebay. when they arrived, he had included a note to say he had sexed the eggs with a magnet and guaranteed all 6 eggs plus a 7th egg free were female. Only one egg hatched, the rest were actually empty on hatch day, nothing inside.
That’s when we turned to you for help. Out of the 6 eggs you sent us, 4 hatched. One decided it was going to be a quitter on hatch day after wobbling for 3 days, the 6th we didnt candle. So thank you. We will certainly be recommending you and using you in future.
Thanks again and best wishes
As ever, a brilliant service from fantastic people. If you want hatching eggs and a great success rate, get them from Wendy!
I can’t wait to get these again from yous, there turn out to be beautiful little chicks 🐣 🐥we got 7 out of 12 which is fab and the marking and colours are beautiful and doing really good. Thankyou again.
Arrived very quickly still waiting for them to hatch fingers crossed 🤞
“… Just wanted to thank you first for the prompt delivery of my hatching eggs last month! and to let you know that my broody hen hatched 5 [of 6] of them successfully!!
Oddly she rejected the last one but another broody has taken it on so very happy thanks!
Hello
Bit early for a full review as have only just received my order but wanted to make sure I got the 5 stars in so far as these were only ordered at the weekend and arrived as per the fantastic communication from Home Farm on Tuesday, perfectly packaged with a lovely note and advice sheet.
Oh and the eggs look fantastic too 🤣 and think the rest is now down to us.
Many thanks, I’ll know exactly where to come the next time 😊
Quick update on my order 😁
10 received I left them all in the incubator – 3 not fertile which left 7 and out of 7 we delivered 5 🐥💖
I’ve attached a photo and will definitely buy again
Enjoy your day
