Description

Our Total Freedom Duck eggs are simply delicious!

They taste similar to chicken eggs only richer and creamier. Comparing the taste of chicken and duck eggs is a lot like comparing skimmed milk and whole milk – they’re basically the same, but one is far more rich, luscious, and creamy. They’re both egg-y, but duck eggs are just so much more interesting!

Duck eggs are more suitable for certain recipes than other egg types because they have a richer taste and a higher fat content in the yolk. Therefore they work well in baked products.

Due to the larger yolk, duck eggs are significantly higher in both fat and cholesterol than chicken eggs. They also are higher in protein and have a higher concentration of omega-3 fatty acids. This makes them a favourite among paleo dieters, who seek high-fat foods.

When we pack and send – see website shop front.  We do not delay posting out orders unless specifically requested to do so by the buyer, or we may delay over long bank holidays if we judge egg quality to be otherwise compromised.

Hello Lovely Wendy & Andy, and Home Farm Team, Am so in gratitude for all your free range Goose & Duck eggs, they are so delicious. I have been looking for somewhere I can get my usual Goose Eggs which are harder to come by these days. The only place would have been our local Farmers Market in Winchester. But not so much now. Its been years. Until I found Home Farm, perfect. You now have my constant custom, so to speak. Where I have IBS and Reflux my diet is limited. My Goosey Eggs are my staple, with greens, noodles, pak choi, sweet peppers, sometimes parma ham, low fat protein cheese or feta. Yet to try goat cheese. I use large salad onions or onion/garlic greens. Black garlic. We have recently cleared our kitchen, with a new theme and have got a cute black iron chicken egg basket for your Goosey & Duck Eggs, bless. We have just finished the last two Goosey eggs with two Ducks left to make a Brioche loaf for hubby, bless. So here are some pics after first order, bless. And have just put my second order through. I have just received my second order this morning, have used my last two duck eggs to make a Brioche Loaf for hubby, Josh. And have placed each Goose & Duck egg in their black Rooster Egg Basket so they can settle. An omelette for late lunch with Med Goose egg, with Bok Choi Spring onions and maybe peppers, mixed herbs, something simple. All the packing for the eggs are going in the compost bins. I always wash the egg shells before crushing for compost. I may grind to powder for natural fertilizer for my veggies growing this season. Will send some pics. Praying for start of a warmer Spring as am preparing for and started sowing February seeds. Have a blessed day, until the next. Big hugs from Us3 here from 23 in Winchester, blessed bee. Blessings & Best Wishes Lizzie, Josh & Pixie May Tux puss cat >^•^< xx 🙏🤗☕️☕️⭐️😊🦆🐓🪿

  1. Love the eggs

  2. Excellent customer service, quality products at reasonable prices and quick delivery, I live in Lancashire and would not purchase eggs etc from anywhere else.

  3. Delivered promptly, well packaged and keeping my partner very happy 😊

  4. Fab quality eggs that arrived quickly in the post, and all were in perfect condition.

  5. Absoutely delighted to receive another safe delivery of my favourite Duck Eggs To be honest I’ve tried others but between receiving damaged and broken eggs as a result of poor packaging, I will now only shop at Home Farm Cornwall on line as their delivery is first rate, packaging A1 and most importantly the duck eggs are fabulous.

  6. What a find… The ease of ordering and the note inside the box. The eggs were delicious have ordered twice now goose and duck eggs spot on thank you

  7. Hi there, I’ve been with you guys for a wee while now and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Your eggs are something really special. You can taste the care and attention you guys put in and it’s obvious that you really love what you do and the animals you care for.
It might sound simple, but it makes such a difference to me and many more people. It’s a privilege to buy products that are superior, and I wanted you to know it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you for everything you put into your farm and your produce, it really makes a difference to me and many other people.

  8. First time trying duck eggs – they are amazing, rich, creamy and huge yolks. You can tell that these are quality eggs, the size and from the shells, they are strong. I’ll be ordering more!

One small thing that would be good – is there any way to reduce the postage costs, they seem rather high? This would definitely encourage me to order more!

    • Hi Phil, thank you for your kind review. We’d love to reduce our postage costs. The cost not only includes the standard tracked 24 service, it also includes our packaging and handling fee too, as these costs need to be covered on order for us to sell our duck eggs at the price we do. I hope that helps? Sincerely, Wendy

  18. “Wendy & Andy.
Just wanted to drop a line… to say thank you for a year of superb duck eggs that have become the favourite breakfast in my household. My partner who’s a mad keen road race cyclist credits them with fuelling his 7 day cycle from Jon o’Groats-Land’s End, the North Coast 500 & the 1 day coast to coast Aberystwyth to Skegness all done this summer. Duck Eggs travelled with him in the Sag Wagon. Kept safely in the super cardboard box you post my orders in! Not one broken egg in all the orders I’ve received from you.
Anyway, I digress, I really just meant to say thanks for such superb eggs & friendly efficient service.
Best wishes to you & the team at Home Farm.
    Warmest Regards
    JC, Oxford

  19. Absolutely Superb Duck Eggs. First time ordering and certainly not the last. Packaging was excellent and lovely touch little note from yourselves along with delivery.

  20. These eggs arrived super fresh, usually other vendors are out of stock or have short expiration date eggs. Taste during eating and feeling after is 9/10 short of goose eggs.

My first order was 60 duck eggs and none of the eggs arrived cracked. Most companies use more plastic than this one to deliver eggs but with intelligent packaging these were delivered much better.
