Home Farm Cornwall is owned and run by us, a husband and wife team, Andy & Wendy. Our farm is situated in a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty and south facing valley in Morval, Looe, South East Cornwall.
a farm of two halves, we supply eggs by post uk wide and grow & make multi-award winning deli preserves.
We ensure it’s Cornish – Through and Through!
We bought the fields in 2016. It was then just grazing land with no amenities or farm building on it, and have spent the years since driving forward with our vision of a small high quality produce farm. Having established paddocks, growing areas, building tracks and erecting polytunnels, we now grow produce that is not commonly grown in Cornwall and make delicious multiple award winning chutneys and fruit preserves from what we grow. We have grown our own livestock flocks and continue to do so, supplying award winning free range and fertile hatching eggs all over the UK.
Andy was born into a Cornish Dairy Farming family in Saltash, so farming is in his blood. It gives him an appreciation of the hardships and challenges of farming life yet provides a foundation for creativity and diversification in our current climate. He also had previous careers of carpentry and engineering, only serving to compliment his farming skills.
Wendy has grown fruit and veg most of her life on a domestic scale with previous experience of keeping geese, ducks and chickens. Her previous careers, from 1988 involved nursing, midwifery and business consulting, serving to complement the establishment of their farm together.
True North TV filmed the farm for Channel 4 in 2020 focusing on the Tomatillo and Cucamelons grown and the public response to market tastings.
